Global Warming with Crochet

A chronicle of the scarves and hats I have crocheted along with links to the patterns or other resources I used. These scarves and hats will go to the wonderful charities I support. This blog is dedicated to my grandmother, Bess Allison (Mama Bess), who taught me to crochet, and to my father, Bill Bishop, both of whom have passed on. I also dedicate this site to my mother, Jeanette Bishop, who has always been such an inspiration to me in so many ways. I love you all so much.

Chunky Men's Beanie

Here is a hat I crocheted using Lion Brand Wool Ease Chunky, color "Charcoal". I used my usual Teresa's Beanie pattern (which is an actual baby beanie pattern and can be found at this link) with the last increase row consisting of 70 stitches. I used the entire 5 oz. skein and the length from the top is 10 1/2 inches. It is very warm and somewhat tightly stitched because I used a size I crochet hook.
