Global Warming with Crochet

A chronicle of the scarves and hats I have crocheted along with links to the patterns or other resources I used. These scarves and hats will go to the wonderful charities I support. This blog is dedicated to my grandmother, Bess Allison (Mama Bess), who taught me to crochet, and to my father, Bill Bishop, both of whom have passed on. I also dedicate this site to my mother, Jeanette Bishop, who has always been such an inspiration to me in so many ways. I love you all so much.

Scarf #100 October 23, 2011

This is another scarf using Deborah Norville Everyday Soft Worsted, color "Aubergine" (I love this color! But with my poor camera skills and the fluorescent lighting in the area where I take the pictures, you probably can't see the color as it really is). The scarf is simply all half-double crochet, worked length-wise, starting with a beginning chain of 250.
