Global Warming with Crochet

A chronicle of the scarves and hats I have crocheted along with links to the patterns or other resources I used. These scarves and hats will go to the wonderful charities I support. This blog is dedicated to my grandmother, Bess Allison (Mama Bess), who taught me to crochet, and to my father, Bill Bishop, both of whom have passed on. I also dedicate this site to my mother, Jeanette Bishop, who has always been such an inspiration to me in so many ways. I love you all so much.

Scarf #102 October 28, 2011

The yarn I used for this scarf and hat is Lion Brand Tweed Stripes, color "Woodlands" (color 206). I love the color but was a bit peeved to find 5 knots in one skein. I doubt if I will use this yarn again.

The scarf is done in all double crochet with a beginning chain of 28.
