A chronicle of the scarves and hats I have crocheted along with links to the patterns or other resources I used. These scarves and hats will go to the wonderful charities I support. This blog is dedicated to my grandmother, Bess Allison (Mama Bess), who taught me to crochet, and to my father, Bill Bishop, both of whom have passed on. I also dedicate this site to my mother, Jeanette Bishop, who has always been such an inspiration to me in so many ways. I love you all so much.

Scarf #2 March 19, 2011
This is a really beautiful pattern created by Vanessa Hailey called the Clamshell Scarf. I used Caron Azure (Color 523). It is a very soft yarn, but not very "stretchy". Thank you, Vanessa, for such a great scarf pattern. I think this one should be done in solid colors to show the detail of the stitch.
