Today's scarf I crocheted using Deborah Norville Everyday Worsted, color "Really Red". The pattern goes like this:
Cross stitch: Skip next st, dc in next st, dc in skipped st
Beginning chain 24.
Row 1: Dc in each ch across; ch 2; turn
Row 2: Dc in next 2 st, *cross stitch, dc in next 3 st; rep from * across; ch 2; turn
Rows 3+: Repeat Row 2 until desired length, then end with a row of dc
For the hat, I worked Teresa's beanie pattern (see link under Favorite Sites/Patterns) for 8", then switched to scarf pattern for brim.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day! It is rainy and cool in Battle Ground, WA. Fall has definitely arrived.
