The scarf for today I crocheted using Lion Brand Wool Ease worsted, color "Forest Green Heather". I adapted the pattern for a crocheted headband, demonstrated by Teresa Richardson on her YouTube video "How to Crochet a Wide Head Band" which can be found at this link. I started with a beginning chain of 250, working the pattern length-wise. For the hat, I worked about 3 inches of Teresa's Beanie pattern, then switched to the pattern of the scarf.

Beautiful, as always. How many of these do you need to do? What project are you committed to doing that these beautiful scarves and hats are part of? Don't really need to tell me if you don't wish...I'm just curious. You're so committed and talented!
Hi Carriann,
Right now I don't have a plan for a specific number to do, but I will be sending most of these to Bridge and Beyond, a charity for the homeless in central Ohio, and two local charities (the Share House in Vancouver, WA, and the Transitions Project in Portland, OR).
I'm sorry it took me so long to respond...my son has been "fixing" my computer again...sigh...
Thank you so much for your kind comments!
